*** Banyan, (Ficus benghalensis), also called Indian banyan or banyan fig, unusually shaped tree of the mulberry family moraceae native to the Indian subcontinent. The banyan reaches a height up to 30 metres (100 feet) and spreads laterally indefinitely.
1.The 'Banyan' is the National Tree of India.
2. It often refers specifically to the 'Indian Banyan' or 'Ficus benghalensis'.
3. It was adopted as national tree of India in 1950.
4. The largest banyan tree in the world is found in Howrah, India. It is named as “The Great Banyan”. It is over 250 years old. The area occupied by the tree is about 18,918 square meters.
5. It is considered as a sin in India to cut a Banyan and Peepal tree.
6. Cleaning the teeth with the aerial roots of the Banyan is beneficial in preventing teeth and gum disorders.It can also be used to treat osteomyelitis, an infection in the bones.
7. Tender roots of Banyan are useful in treating infertility in a female.
8. In many parts of the world, the wood and bark of the Banyan tree are used for making paper.

Mango, also called as king of fruits, is not an uncommon one to us Indians. The Mango tree needs lot of space to grow. If you’re short of space then growing a mango tree on ground is impossible. Good news is that you can grow mango tree in a pot.
Botanical Name: Mangifera Indica
A Mango tree grown on its native place can grow huge, up to 32 meters tall, although it depends on the variety. There’re more than 500+ varieties of mangoes grown widely. A typical mango tree, if rightly cared may live up to 100 of years.
A grafted mango tree takes at least 3 years to fruit. In its first 3 to 5 years it grows larger and produce less flowers and fruits. More productive fruiting starts after the fifth year of planting.
